Xiaomi has tweeted that it will launch a new Redmi smartphone soon in the country. However, the tweet holds no information on the device name or the timeline for the phone launch. Xiaomi has shared an image which has the night skyline in the background, and the tagline ‘Power in your hands’.

Furthermore, Xiaomi India’s VP Manu Jain also tweeted that this would be the second biggest announcement this month by Xiaomi India. This means that the Redmi 4 and Redmi 4 Prime would be announced before the end of this month.
