Take a look at Samsung’s Android flip-phone

If you ask someone in 2017 they will say flip phones are a thing of the past. These mouth to ear phones were almost a perfect compromise to get decent screen size with small vertical height in phones as long as it wasn’t too thick.

But after the popularity of touchscreen smartphone increased, every company just stopped making flip-phones.

According to Samsung, its new phone has a “retro” and lean metal design

Until now, the South Korean giant Samsung launched a new Android flip phone in Korea. The phone is named Folder Flip 2 and it comes in two colour options – Blue and Pink.

Samsung is not just re-using old design style, but it has put enough specifications inside the phone so that users who switch the phone, don’t have to lose access to their apps.

Folder Flip 2 Specifications

The Folder Flip 2 has a 3.8-inch display paired with 2GB of RAM, a 1950mAh battery and it also has up to 256 GB storage.

The phone is going to run on a quad-core 1.4GHz processor and there will be two different variants: one with support for LTE and one with support for 3G.

It also has separate physical buttons to load up contacts, texts, and camera features.

Yes we know that the phone does not have the latest and greatest features and tech, but its $260 price tag makes it clear that it is more of a nostalgia and style item than an ideal smartphone option. But it’s worth it, this smartphone can do all your basic stuff with ease.

Samsung has only launched it in Korea. There is no release information of the phone in other markets. Korean smartphone users are lucky.
